The Centennial Tigers are proud to announce their partnership with Melbourne’s The Footy Factory — an academy designed to elevate girls’ football skills by learning from some of the top AFLW athletes.
The Footy Factory was established in 2018, by founder John McCully, with a vision to give girls from all backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to play Australian Rules Football. “We exist to motivate, inspire, and teach girls in a safe and fun environment through coaching and education on the field, and an off-field community hub,” says McCully.
The new partnership will include articles provided by top AFLW athletes specifically for the Tigers, as well as sending us footy equipment only found in Australia.
“I am so thrilled that John has offered to sponsor and partner with the Tigers,” says Tigers President Sara Rohner. “He is a champion of women’s footy for all ages and ability levels, and his desire to grow the sport abroad is encouraging.”
McCully recently provided the Tigers with 2019 AFL Premiership jumpers as a fundraiser for the Centennial Tigers. Interested in purchasing one? Click here to visit our Facebook store to check availability.
